Citizens Advice service returns to Bourne

25 October 2022

A grant from the Len Pick Trust has enabled Citizens Advice to re-start its service from Wake House, North Street.

In 2021, Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire dealt with 42,347 enquiries covering a wide range of topics, including benefits, debt advice, housing advice, employment and consumer issues. The service has helped clients deal with over £1.1m of debt and also helped clients gain over £4m of income. The support offered by the service is diverse, and includes matters pertaining to health, immigration, relationship and legal issues.

The successful Bourne branch closed when the Covid-19 pandemic struck, but funding by the Len Pick Trust in 2022 has enabled the service to resume in the town. The Bourne branch is open Mondays and Thursdays, with the mornings for drop-in visits and afternoon for pre-booked appointments.
