The Len Pick Memorial Evening 2026
The Len Pick Trust is pleased to be welcoming The Reverend Kate Bottley to the 2026 Len Pick Memorial Evening.
Reverend Kate will take to the stage of the Bourne Corn Exchange when the popular event returns to its traditional January timeslot, on Wednesday, 28th January 2026.
Kate is a priest in North Nottinghamshire, and a television and radio presenter. She presents BBC Radio 2’s weekly show, Good Morning Sunday alongside Jason Mohammed, is a frequent guest contributor on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, and a regular presenter on Songs of Praise.
Kate has built up an impressive resume of broadcast projects, with radio broadcasting accompanied by TV appearances on Celebrity Masterchef, The One Show, and 8 Out of 10 Cats. She has written for newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, The
Independent and Radio Times, and is the author of Have A Little Faith: Life Lessons on Love, Death and How Lasagne Always Helps.
Originally from Sheffield, Kate only started going to church because she fancied the local vicar’s son. They are now married, and she became ordained to join the church. While officiating a wedding, Kate took part in a dancing wedding flash mob. The video went viral with more than seven million hits on YouTube, and she was approached by Channel 4’s Gogglebox to join the show. She began building up an impressive resume of broadcast projects. Kate has presented BBC Radio 2’s The Sunday Hour, fronted Alone With the In-Laws and In The Footsteps of Judas, a Easter documentary for BBC 1, and journeyed to Camino de Santiago for BBC 2’s The Pilgrimage.
In 2024, Amar Latif was the Len Pick Memorial Evening's guest speaker. Other previous speakers at the event have included Amanda Owen, Adam Henson, Mandy Hickson and Bill Turnbull.
