“For
the general benefit of the townspeople
of Bourne Lincolnshire”
Would
you like to help make a difference?
With effect
from the 1st April 2008, our two existing
co-opted members will become full Trustees
bringing the Board of Trustees to 8.
To assist us in our work we are therefore
seeking to appoint 2 replacement co-opted
members with effect from that date.
The appointments are for a period of
four years, with the possibility of
an extension of a further four years.
Interested?
The successful
candidates will be expected to demonstrate
a pro-active approach to the Trust
and its work. Regular attendance at
meetings of the Trust will be required
as is the ability to communicate effectively
and work with others in a committee
setting. Although experience in Business
Management and Finance would be advantageous,
an awareness of the needs and aspirations
of the community served by the Trust
will be of particular importance. Preference
therefore will be given to persons
resident, or working within, the area
of benefit. The Len Pick Trust welcomes
applications from all sectors of the
local community. Previous experience
of Trusteeship is not a requirement.
However, applicants must be aged 18
or over. The Trust is independent and
the Trustees would therefore not expect
to appoint anyone who is actively engaged
in party political or local government
matters. The posts will be subject
to full CRB Disclosures.
