Vacancy for co-opted member

Since our formation in 2005, The Len Pick Trust has become acknowledged as a significant source of funding and advice to community organisations within the town of Bourne. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a pro-active approach to the role of co-opted member including the preparation of case research and assisting in the implementation and fulfilment of our Strategic Development Plan. Regular attendances at meetings of the Trust will be required as will the ability to communicate effectively and work with others in a committee setting. It will be advantageous to demonstrate skills in one or more fields of Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, and I.T. but in particular, an awareness of the needs and aspirations of the community served by the Trust. Experience in being part of a Trust will be an asset, although training will be given. The Trust is independent and the Trustees would not expect to appoint any person who is actively engaged locally in government or party political matters. The posts will be sbject to full CRB Disclosures. The Len Pick Trust welcomes applications from all sectors of the local community, however preference will be given to persons resident, or working within, our area of benefit.
